PenCom DG, Oloworaran praises Gov Ododo’s Exemplary Leadership in Kogi

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has been praised for what is described as his humility, good governance drive, inclusive leadership and making Kogi proud across the country, the statements were contained in the speech of the Director General of the National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran during a visit by the Governor to the headquarters of the commission on Friday.

The elated Director General said Governor Ododo’s humility and passion for development humbles and motivates her. Ms Oloworaran as a proud indigene of Kogi state said she has broken a record of being the first Director General of the commission to be visited by her Governor in office. She commended the Governor for his good governance strides, inclusive leadership and his desire to unite Kogites for development.

While making his speech, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo said the state is proud to have a daughter in the capacity of the Director General, adding that his visit was a deliberate action to make well meaning Kogi indigenes to remember to come home to join hands with him for development of the state.

Governor Usman Ododo noted that Ms Oloworaran represent the best of Kogi and has become a beacon of hope and inspiration to Kogi Women. He challenged the Director General to return home to interact with Kogi Women in order to inspire them to become like her. He describes the need for joint efforts for development of Kogi as urgent and a must to do.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo said Kogi is hugely and richly blessed and requests that Kogi sons and daughters come back as investors and stakeholders for development.

On his part, Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones briefed the PENCOM management on the educational giant strides of the Governor and the undeniable growth education sector have witnessed.

While making contributions on the achievements of the Governor, Chairman Forum of Special Advisers in Kogi Stste and Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi described Governor Ododo as an accountable, responsive and responsible leader whose passion for Civil Servants and Pensioners welfare has earned him a place of pride all over the nation. He mentioned the deductions holiday the Governor gave civil servants and pensioners as a strategic plan to assist them to cope with economic realities.
