OJN Foundation Donates ₦300,000 to the Nigerian Forestry Security Guard (Hunters Association), Zango Chapter
In line with the OJN Foundation’s commitment to youth empowerment and community development, the Foundation today presented a cash donation of ₦300,000 to the Zango Chapter of the Nigerian Forestry Security Guard, also known as the Hunters Association. This donation, made in response to the association’s request, aims to enhance their office administration and strengthen security operations within the community.
The Founder of the OJN Foundation, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, expressed his appreciation to the leadership and members of the Hunters Association for their tireless efforts in safeguarding the community. He emphasized that the Foundation’s support is part of a broader effort to complement the commendable work of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, in combating insecurity across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the Deputy Commandant for the North-Central Zone, DC Paul Sayie, expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Oladele John Nihi and the entire management of the OJN Foundation for their timely and generous gesture. He noted that while Hon. Oladele John Nihi has privately supported their operations for the past three years, this public donation through the Foundation is both surprising and highly commendable.
DC Paul Sayie further highlighted that while the donation will go a long way in enhancing their operations, there is still more to be done to improve their effectiveness in tackling security challenges. He called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to follow the OJN Foundation’s example in supporting local security initiatives.
Also present at the presentation were the Managing Director of the OJN Foundation, Mr. Samuel Kadiri, Mr. Ademola Solomon, and Otunba Nihi, who all reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to fostering community safety and supporting grassroots organizations.
