Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, Loses Father at 83
The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has lost his beloved father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo. He passed away at the age of 83.
In a statement released to newsmen in Lokoja by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, it was confirmed that Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo died today.
The statement further noted that burial arrangements will be conducted in line with Islamic rites.
Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo was a highly respected elder whose life and values shaped the character and leadership of his son, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. His passing marks the end of an era for the Ododo family and the people of Kogi State who held him in high regard.
The government, political associates, and well-wishers are expected to join the family in prayers as they bid farewell to the late patriarch.
