Governor Usman Ododo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting communities across Kogi State with essential infrastructure and basic services. The governor made this declaration in Ekinrin-Adde while commissioning a newly constructed doctor’s lodge and a motorized borehole in the community.

Representing the governor at the event was Mr. Abidemi Oni, the Supervisory Councilor for Works and the representative of the Ijumu Local Government Area (LGA) Chairman. He emphasized that Governor Ododo remains dedicated to ensuring that rural communities receive the necessary amenities to enhance the quality of life for residents.

The projects, facilitated by the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), are part of the administration’s broader strategy to drive grassroots development. The agency’s General Manager, Chief Momoh Dauda, praised the Ekinrin-Adde community for its dedication and high-quality execution of its first project, which paved the way for the approval of additional projects. He noted that the commissioning event was also part of activities marking Governor Ododo’s one-year anniversary in office.

In his address, the Paramount Ruler of Ekinrin-Adde, His Royal Highness Anthony Idowu, expressed gratitude to the government and the agency for selecting the community for these crucial projects. He acknowledged Governor Ododo’s efforts in funding the initiatives and prayed for continued success in his administration. The commissioning of the doctor’s lodge and the borehole marks another milestone in the governor’s promise to enhance infrastructure across Kogi State, ensuring that rural communities are not left behind in the state’s developmental agenda. Residents of Ekinrin-Adde expressed their appreciation, emphasizing the positive impact these facilities would have on their daily lives.
