A Tribute of Comfort: Honoring the Life of Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo

The Kogi State Government House Chapel joins the people of Kogi State in mourning the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, the beloved father of our Executive Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. Baba departed this world at the blessed age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew him.

In moments like this, words often fall short. Yet, we take solace in the truth of Scripture, which reminds us:

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15

Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo was more than a father; he was a pillar of strength and wisdom whose values shaped the lives of many, especially his family. His life story is one of dedication, humility, and resilience—a testimony that will remain a guiding light for generations.

To His Excellency and the entire Ododo family, we extend our deepest condolences. We pray that the Almighty comforts you in this season of grief and gives you the fortitude to carry on his legacy. May you find peace in knowing that Baba’s life was well-lived and that he rests now in eternal peace.

As a chapel family, our prayers are with you. May the Lord surround you with His love, strengthen you in your service to the state, and grant the entire family the comfort that only He can give.

Signed
